the stick and me UK - Germany - Brasil
HEy. My name is Claudia. I got the stick in February.. I believe.. when two couchsurfer stayed at my place in London, both from Austria. They left some data on the stick.. I deleted most of it (I was told so - also the format was unknown to my pc, they had used it as a personal usb device.. its very handy to use it as such..) I kept one of their files on the stick though, I really like it, its called: “besserungsanstalt” (spoken text) about nowadays passive society taken over by television. So how did it get to Germany.. well, I was going to pass it on as soon as possible, with the next couchsurfer even, but exams began.. and after exams I moved back to Germany.. and when I was sending stuff to Kanada I thought I should really pass the stick on to Kanada, but I could not find it (my room filled with boxes from mooving back and forth to places) - last week however I found it! It was in a small bag with beads and necklesses and earrings. So, I have been thinking what to put on the stick.. and where to send it to. For a long time (half a year) I meant to send a little parcel with pictures and books to my friend in Brasil (Belo Horizonte) - I was going to burn all these things on dvd, but now I will put some pictures and some of the short video clips I have made in the last two years on the stick and send it to her!
on the stick is now: sound file: besserungsanstalt, videos: csd berlin 2007 (a short clip about the gay street festival in berlin) , new adventures anywhere (a clip about cycling to university in london - the speed of london), pretzien (it shows the lake next to which I live), Berlin roofs (a short clip, waking up on a roof) and fusion festival 2007 (a video clip about the last festival I have been to)
well, I hope she will pass it on 
I think its a very nice project and that the stick will travel far!!
